Wait a minute. What are we talking about? Who needs another reason to drink wine?
Ok… Just in case you needed another reason to work out, now you can work out with wine!
No, not like that. This is a legitimate workout. Health coach April Storey has created wine workouts using bottles of wine as weights, including bicep curls while sipping on wine and squats holding full bottles. She even does pushups over a wineglass holding a straw, for a sip on each dip. “They’re moves that I incorporate into all of my workouts,” she says.
The workouts have gone viral, with one clip on the Facebook page Once Upon A Wine racking up over 18 million views, and is showing up on People, Cosmopolitan, Today, across the pond on Daily Mail, and even CNN! You can check out the videos she’s already done on her Facebook page.

“I do love that it is giving people ideas of workouts to do, whether you use wine bottles or not, so I’m definitely open to posting more [wine workout] videos in the future,” she says. “I have a couple of ideas up my sleeve!”
