SONY DSCMay 10, 2012 – The IDOL 2012 Spring contest revealed truly talented performers who sang their hearts out over a competition that lasted several weeks making this one of the most exciting American Idol Contests – Laurita Winery Style!

SONY DSCWe are proud to announce that Alexa Pantaleo of Freehold, NJ took home the 1st place grand prize of $1000!

Coming in a close second was the talented Carmelo Malatino of Marlton, NJ, winning a one night stay for two at the Inn at Laurita Winery.

SONY DSCLast, but certainly not least, Sandy Daleo of Mays Landing, NJ, walked away with the third place prize of a $100 Laurita Gift Certificate and two free wine tastings.

The competition was fierce beginning with over 40 contestants, with 8 reaching the finals* — all eyes on the first place title. Each finalist sang two songs of their choice and was judged by the American Idol Contest judges and the audience. The winners were announced Thursday evening , May 10, 2012, at the Finals Finale. It was a tough decision — all performers gave it their everything and were spectacular!

The evening closed with Alexa singing one last song — a beautiful ending to a wonderful and exciting event at Laurita Winery.
